One of the newest and most “job-replacing” AI tools is a browser called Comet, created by the AI company Perplexity.

Unlike a normal browser, Comet isn’t just for searching the web. It’s designed to act like a real digital assistant. You can give it tasks in plain language, and it can:

  • manage emails,

  • schedule meetings,

  • search LinkedIn for candidates,

  • and even coordinate with Google Calendar.

These are the exact types of daily tasks usually done by recruiters or administrative assistants. That’s why Perplexity’s CEO, Aravind Srinivas, said Comet could realistically replace two entire white-collar roles in many companies.

Right now, Comet is only available to premium users through an invite system, so it’s not public for everyone yet. But it’s already clear that this kind of tool shows where things are heading:
AI isn’t just helping humans anymore – in some cases, it’s taking over full job functions.

In short:
💻 Comet is a browser, but really it’s like hiring an invisible office worker who never sleeps.
⚡ It’s one of the clearest examples yet of how AI is moving from “nice-to-have” into actually replacing real jobs.

Personal words:

“Honestly, I think Comet is impressive. The idea of a browser that can take care of emails, schedules, and research feels like a huge time-saver. At the same time, it makes me wonder what this means for real jobs in the future. Personally, I’d definitely try it out to boost productivity—but I’d still want humans in the loop for the important decisions.”

"Thanks for reading — AI moves fast, but we make sure you never get left behind."
